Prescription Lens Replacements
The standard build time for your new lenses is up to 10 business days once your prescription has been approved. Please note that your total turnaround time begins once your frames arrive at our facility and will also depend on the outbound shipping method you selected at checkout.
To avoid any lab delays, please ship your frames to our Austin facility using your preferred method as soon as possible after your prescription has been approved. Once the service is complete, we’ll send a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your order all the way back home!
We are excited to begin offering Lens Replacements at ROKA! In this current iteration of the program, only currently active frame styles are eligible for lens replacements.
Like any new eyewear order, we require a current and valid, doctor-signed copy of your prescription to move forward with the service.
Great question! These two options are actually different levels of service:
FedEx Office - Pack & Ship: They will provide the packaging, pack the eyewear safely for you, and handle the shipment. This is explicit to FedEx Office locations only.
FedEx Drop-Off: This is a traditional service for when you have already packed the eyewear yourself. You don't even need a printer—simply present your QR code to a team member and they will print and apply the label for you, or you can use the Ship and Go kiosk for a contact-free experience.
Feel free to choose whichever FedEx option fits your needs better!
Since prescription lenses are custom-made to your specific vision needs and frame, they are not eligible for return under the lens replacement policy.
We completely understand that being without your primary prescription can be a challenge. Because our lens replacement process requires precision-mounting to your specific frames at our Austin facility, we are unable to cut lenses without the frames on-site. If you don't have a backup pair, we recommend utilizing our Home Tryout program to find a second style to keep in rotation before sending your primary pair in!
