Our Amber lenses create a soft yellow hue that warms the scene and helps reduce exposure to harmful blue light from screens. During the day, they reduce eye strain. WHY FILTER BLUE LIGHT?
Blue light is known as HEV (high-energy visible) light, a color that our eyes can actually see. This short wavelength light is powerful, producing higher amounts of energy than other forms of light.
The human eye is unable to filter blue light effectively. This means more rays reach the retina, which can cause a host of symptoms ranging from annoying to painful. Because the average user spends upwards of 13 hours
a day interacting with screens, it's a recipe for overworked eyes that can't catch a break.

These lenses block 70%–100% of blue light across the High-Energy Visible (HEV) spectrum, specifically between 400nm–440nm.
Our blue light lenses have a yellow hue to them, so while you'll see your screens clearly they may notice slight color variation. You will also notice a violet reflection when on a video call in your lenses.
